We decided to check out this spot due to the buzz, and it delivered. It's a quintessential New York experience with bustling counter service and a bit of a wait, though surprisingly just 10-15 minutes even on a busy weekend. I highly recommend trying a variety of their bagels and spreads, especially if you're sharing with friends. We particularly enjoyed the sun-dried tomato cream cheese and the mixed berry cream cheese--both packed a flavorful punch that stole the show from the bagels themselves. Their bagels are substantial and kept us satisfied well into the evening. For the perfect outing, take your bagels to Tompkins Square Park and enjoy them at one of the picnic tables.

I got a chance to visit this location of Tompkins Square Bagels during a recent trip to NYC! Service was pretty fast and speedy; I ordered two different bagels: Everything Bagel w/Scallion Cream Cheese - 10/10, one of the best bagels I have ever had, period. French Toast Bagel w/Birthday Cake Cream Cheese - 9/10 - Both flavors complement each other, although I felt that the french toast bagel was a little bit on the dry side (granted I ate this much later than I bought it), but still overall very solid. Would definitely be back if I were ever in NYC again to try some of their other combinations!

9/10 Overall: the best bagels I've had thus far!! We ordered an everything bagel scooped, scallion cream cheese, salmon lox, onion, and tomato. It turned out to be $18 which was quite pricy but my friend and I split one since it was pretty huge! Custom bagel $18: 4.5/5 I love scallion so the scallion cream cheese it was so so good to me!! The salmon was also super smoky and delicious and paired perfectly with the flavor of the onion and tomato. I think if I toasted the bagel it would be a 5/5.

Bagels were sitting so it was a bit tough but we got to sample the fresh bagel and wow! That was amazing! I think I would ask for a fresh bagel everytime and wait for it because the ones that sat out did not compare! You basically have to eat the bagel fresh! The combos we did on our bagels was great and huge! It was in a great location and super busy! Loved the decor and the atmosphere! Ambiance was great and the workers were great and super helpful

Solid spot for bagels with plenty of plant-based options! I love how they now have a vegan sausage, egg and cheese bagel on the menu, allowing us to have options other than just a bagel with vegan cream cheese. I really enjoyed this sandwich on an everything bagel, which had a delicious and garlicky/salty top. The bagels are perfectly fluffy, and they also have a lot of cream cheese options-even the vegan ones taste and have a great texture due to the fact that they use tofu as the base.

Solid bagels. I do like the extensive list of cream cheeses that they have - the scallion bacon and regular scallion cream cheese are definitely some of my top flavors. Their lox is alright - I do prefer other stores lox more, but it wasn't horrible. This place can get super packed especially on the weekends, so be prepared to wait in somewhat of a line. However, it does move pretty fast. The staff is really friendly and great at helping you choose if you don't know what you want. Get your bagels and go eat at the park across the street!

The best bagel I've ever had! Everyone was so nice and the ordering system was very efficient. There are so many options to choose from, but I went for The Chittle with pesto. I'll definitely be back to try a sweet bagel and a lox bagel! Shout out to Frank for welcoming us in!

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE SIMPLY 100/10‼ I got the Russo bagel and all the staff so friendly! The bagel was delectable and probably the best bagel I've EVER HAD!!! Special thanks to Frank for helping us out!! I will be back sooo soon look forward to trying the lox bagel and french toast bagel!!

First bagel in NY and it was incredible. Shoutout to the owner Frankie (silver fox) who gave us this French toast bagel with birthday cake cream cheese and hot honey. Great service, great bagel, great people.
